Privacy policy

Ravani Athletics is a personal AI training coach built and run by Ravi Autar. Questions about this policy or your data go to ravilutionary@gmail.com.

Your account. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. When you sign in with Apple we receive an identifier and the email address you choose to share, which can be a private relay address. We use them to recognise you; nothing else from either account is read for sign-in.

What you tell the coach. Your goals, the answers you give at onboarding (age, sex, bodyweight, height, experience), training sessions, measurements, notes, injuries, meals and the photos you attach, nights of sleep you log, and the conversation itself, on the web or on WhatsApp.

Connected services, only if you connect them. Strava activities. Google Calendar events in the window the coach plans for, and the sessions it writes there for you. Sleep and workouts from Google Health, and from the health store on your phone: Apple Health on an iPhone, Health Connect on Android, read by the Ravani app only after you allow it on the phone. Each connection can be removed from Connections at any time, which also revokes our access with the provider.

Apps you connect to Ravani, such as Claude. When you allow an app to use your record, we keep which app you allowed and when, and a log of each request it makes: which tool it used, the details it sent for that tool, when, and whether it worked. We use the log to keep the service working and secure.

Everything above exists to coach you: to keep your record, estimate where you stand against your goal, plan sessions and answer your messages. AI models from Google (Gemini) read your messages, photos and record, including health data you connect, to do that work; the app asks your permission for this before you start. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or marketing, or share it with anyone for their own purposes.

Data from Apple Health is used only to coach you. It is never used for advertising or data mining, never sold, and never shared with anyone except Google Gemini to produce your coaching, with your permission.

If you connect Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, Claude reads your record and writes what you ask it to through Ravani's connector. Ravani receives only what Claude sends to its tools, never the rest of your conversation. What Claude does with your conversation is covered by Anthropic's privacy policy.

Ravani is a training coach, not a medical service, and nothing it says is medical advice.

Ravani Athletics' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar and Health data are used only to coach you, are never used to build advertising profiles, and are never handed to humans except with your consent, for security, or as the law requires.

Your record is stored with Supabase in the European Union (Ireland). The app runs on Vercel. WhatsApp messages travel through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. These providers process data only to run the service for us.

We keep your record for as long as you have an account.

You can disconnect any service from Connections, and Claude from Claude's connector settings. To delete your account and everything with it, open Profile and press Delete account: your record, photos and connections are removed at once. You can also email ravilutionary@gmail.com. You can revoke our access to your Google data from your Google account's permissions page, and to Apple Health in the Health app on your iPhone.

Ravani Athletics is not meant for anyone under 16.
